Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the mobile games published by MaxyLAND Games ("we", "us") on Google Play process, why, and what rights you have over that data. It applies to all of our games unless a game's store listing says otherwise.
1. Who is responsible
Data controller: MaxyLAND Games, an independent developer based in Spain.
Contact: maxylandgames@gmail.com
2. Short version
- No account or sign-up is needed to play.
- We never ask for your name, address, phone number or any contact details.
- Your progress, lives and coins are stored on your own device.
- Data leaves your device for two reasons only: showing ads and handling in-app purchases.
- We do not sell your data.
3. Data stored on your device
The game stores your progress (level reached, stars, coins, lives and items), your settings (language, sound, vibration, reduced motion) and your purchase status in the device's local storage. This information is never sent to any server of ours: we run no servers and keep no copy of your save. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in the Android settings, deletes that information permanently.
4. Data processed by third parties
To keep the game free and to sell in-app products we use third-party services which process data in their own right:
| Service | Purpose | Data it may process |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd.) |
Serving ads (banner, interstitial and rewarded) | Android advertising ID, IP address, device and OS information, approximate country, ad interactions |
| Google Play Billing (Google Ireland Ltd.) |
Processing in-app purchases | Transaction and payment data, handled by Google. We never see or store your card or bank details |
| RevenueCat, Inc. | Validating purchases and knowing whether you bought "remove ads" | An anonymous app user ID, the game's purchase history, country, device model and app version |
Their policies: Google · RevenueCat. These services may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the equivalent safeguards they document.
5. Advertising and consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the first time you open the game you will see a Google consent form (UMP) where you choose whether to accept personalised ads.
- If you accept, you will see ads based on your interests.
- If you decline, you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones, based on context and generic data rather than a profile of you.
- You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy inside the game, which reopens the same form.
- On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
Buying the "remove ads" product, where a game offers it, turns advertising off along with the related data collection.
6. Legal basis
- Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)): personalised ads and anything covered by the consent form.
- Performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b)): processing your purchases and delivering what you bought.
- Legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)): serving non-personalised ads, preventing fraud and keeping the game working and secure.
7. Retention
Data stored on your device remains until you clear the game's data or uninstall it. Data processed by Google and RevenueCat is retained under their own policies; purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
8. Children
Our games are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child in your care has provided us with data, write to us and we will sort it out.
9. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to maxylandgames@gmail.com. We reply within one month at the latest.
Since we run no servers and no user accounts, the most direct way to erase everything the game holds about you is to uninstall it or use Android Settings → Apps → [game name] → Storage → Clear data. For data held by Google or RevenueCat, write to us and we will pass your request on, or contact them directly.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, AEPD, or with your local supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
If anything changes we will update this page and the "last updated" date. Significant changes will also be announced inside the game.
